3D Metal Forming has concluded from extensive experiments and measurements that the High Energy Hydro Forming (HEHF) process offers the unique possibility to manufacture formed shapes with relative low stress level. We call this technology: High Energy Aging Relaxation.
The combination of the HEHF process with sequential aging of precipitation hardening alloys results in stress levels in the same order of magnitude of stress levels in flat plates as received from the mill.
